Angel in the Rubble
This biography brought me to tears. Angel in the Rubble: How I survived for 27 hours under the World Trade Center debris is the story of the last known surviour pulled from the rubble of the twin tower attacks, Genelle Guzman-McMillan.
The imagery of this book is quite astounding, I could see this turned into a movie quite easily. The great thing about this book is that we all know what happened that day ,we all remember what we were doing…this is one woman’s account of what was happening without her actually knowing what was happening.
It sparks ideas of “are there really angels out there?”, “what is your purpose in life” and “why were just 12 spared while thousands died on that day?”
I enjoyed it. Very easy to read.
