After coming down with the chicken pox while holidaying in NZ at age seven, Dior was condemned to the family campervan with a copy of C.S. Lewis’s The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. And so began her lifelong affair with reading, writing and obsessively checking inside wardrobes, just in case.
As a child, anything and everything that could be read, was, from the back of the cereal box, right down to (she sheepishly admits) almost every edition of The Baby-Sitters Club. There. It’s out in the open.
Moving forward in life, Dior enjoys general fiction and memoir novels. However, her favourite book remains The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, as she can pick it up every few years and relive the fantasy dream-world that she first fell in love with.
A Co-op Member since 2013 and true word-nerd at heart, Dior is the Co-op’s copywriter who writes much of the content across the business. She’s also writing this right now and feels slightly* crazy referring to herself in the third person.
