Nelson Mandela: 1918 – 2013

Today the world farewells one of the greatest inspirations to humanity this generation has ever seen – South African leader and anti-apartheid activist Nelson Mandela. A fearless and courageous soul who changed the face of racism and inequality, Mandela made an honourable difference in this world, right to the very end.

We would like to pay tribute with a few of his most endearing and inspirational quotes…

“There is no passion to be found playing small—in settling for a life that is less than the one you are capable of living.”

“No one is born hating another person because of the colour of his skin, or his background, or his religion. People must learn to hate, and if they can learn to hate, they can be taught to love, for love comes more naturally to the human heart than its opposite.”

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.”

“It always seems impossible until it’s done.”

“The greatest glory in living lies not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall.”

“Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.”
