Quiet: The Power of the Introverts

This unassuming book, with its pristine white cover and a tiny little title peaked my interest because it was so unassuming. I like things that are different and unnoticed. I am an introvert.

Thanks to the author Susan Cain I now know that my brain chemistry is different from 2/3 of the global population.¬†We’re the ones who listen instead of talk your ears off. We’re the ones who would rather have our heads buried in a good book than out drinking and dancing till after dawn. We’re the ones you call nerdy or “quiet”, you know who we are and we’re proud to be introverted!

Quiet: The Power of Introverts shows how dramatically we undervalue introverts, and how much we lose in doing so. This extraordinary book has the power to permanently change how we see introverts and, equally important, how introverts see ourselves.
