Star Wars Reads Day

Today, October 6, is Star Wars Reads Day, and my initial thought was why did they not make it May the 4th? … turns out that May the 4th is already a big day in the Star Wars event calendar (yes, there is a calendar, and they had quite a few events running for May the Fourth 2012).

Even though the day is officially US only, but it could go world (galaxy) wide next year, I had a look and was quite surprised to find that we have quite a few Star Wars books and other things in stock (more than 40 different titles) and some of them may surprise you –

Ever wanted to learn how to speak Wookie? Well you can with the aptly titled How to Speak Like a Wookiee.

The Fortune WookieeFor those who like to make and do there are origami books, like the new The Secret of the Fortune Wookiee (where the Fortune Wookiee comes from) and even the Lego Brickmaster: Star Wars which comes with 140 Lego pieces and 2 minifigures.

Want to keep a log of all your travels through space?  With the Limited Edition Star Wars Moleskines you can record everything you see, or even get organised with 2013 themed Moleskine diaries!

There’s also the spin off books, and graphic novels… and, if you’re into cooking don’t despair there’s a book for you coming out in November – Wookie Pies, Clone Scones and Other Galactic Goodies (perfect for those home-baked Christmas gifts).

For all of the Star Wars things in-stock at the moment here’s a wishlist for you!
