This may seem like an odd category to have on a blog from a bookshop – but rest assured there is a reason for it.
Our first bookshop opened at the University of Sydney back in 1958, and ever since then we’ve been surviving.
Surviving the changes in the university landscape and the shift to online bookshops – both Australian* and overseas, the emergence the digital book. And, all the time we have been surviving we’ve been with our Members as they’ve survived things – the move from high school, first year uni, graduations, thesis work, internships, first interviews, career changes, social and family events – because once you’re a Co-op Member you’re a Member for life.
So in the How I Survived … part of our blog you can come and discover tips and tricks and stories of those who have gone before you, to help you get through all the things you will as a Co-op Member.
*Did you know that the Co-op Bookshop’s online bookshop first launched back in 1992 – that’s 20 years ago and it looked and behaved a lot different to our current site! Perhaps we’ll do a post about that too …
