Sunday 1st September is Father’s Day – a day to say thanks to your dad for, well, being your dad.
We know there are a lot of different dads out there, so we thought we’d help you out with your gift selecting by putting a few lists together with ideas… and here’s what we’ve done:
Gifts for dads who read – there’s history, sporting bios, fiction and a whole lot more.
Gifts for dads who don’t read – this is a bit of a mixed bag, and even though the list is ideas for dads who don’t read, there are a few books, like 1001 Whiskies to Try Before You Die, because we think that even a dad who doesn’t read may be interested in this kind of book.
Gifts for dads from kids – if you’re buying for a dad on behalf of a child, this is the list for you. There are books for dads and kids to read together and things for dads and kids to make and do together.
Gifts for dads under $25 – this list is full of stuff (books and not) for different types of dads, and all under $25. A mixed bag of things that are more exciting than a new tie or socks.
We’ve also got a competition to win a $250 Co-op Voucher by telling a “dad joke” – if you win you can give the voucher to your dad, use it to shop for dad, or keep the win mum and use it for yourself. Head here to enter.
If you don’t give dad a pressie this Father’s Day, maybe just put a reminder in your phone and take the time to give him a call.
