Two Cows and a Vanful of Smoke
In my opinion, Two Cows and a Vanful of Smoke was an easy read. The words flowed and instilled visuals of the settings and characters in the book. The lead character, Elliot, was endearing. Although initially thought of as simple, his complexities grew throughout the story and his instilled morals carried him through to the rightful conclusions.
Peter Benson’s words were simplistic but well-written and I think his style of writing would be popular across the masses. I didn’t feel I needed to think too deeply about the context of the book as it was there in front of me just telling me the story of Elliot. Overall, I really enjoyed the story and the characters.
